SCSC Soakers is one of our SIGs dedicated to the exploration and enjoyment of thermal springs, spas, and wellness retreats. Whether you're passionate about the rejuvenating powers of hot springs or simply looking to unwind in a serene spa environment, our group offers the perfect community for like-minded enthusiasts.
Relax and Rejuvenate at the Mineraltherme Boblingen
Come and join us at the therme closest to Panzer! There is a parking lot at the front of the therme so you don't need to park on the street. Follow the signs to the therme and it will lead you to the entrance. We will meet there at 1000, buy tickets, and go in together. If you are late, no worries, just come inside, change in the locker room and you will easily find us - we will start in the indoor pool. Feel free to message me if you need me to wait on you.

Things to bring for spa days ! Bathing suit Towel for pool Towel to dry off with after shower Soap/shampoo/conditioner Robe - if you have one because sometimes it feels cool when you get out of water. ** super needed in winter months so worth an investment! Cover up - if you prefer over a robe or towel Flip flops Plastic bag to store wet things Sunblock if it’s a sunny day Sunglasses of you want to wear them in the outdoor pool You have a locker and can store your things in there while in the pools. *Remember the number because they aren’t always assigned at every therme but you can also scan your armband where electronic ones are used. The rule is you enter changing room first to change and then proceed out to the lockers. You must shower before you enter the pools and the people there have no issues telling you if they see you don’t. You will get a wristband when you pay at entrance - you will use this to pay for anything inside and pay balance on way out. If anyone wants to go to the saunas - most places are textile free ( no clothes ) but it is acceptable to wear a towel if you want to go but aren’t feeling adventurous lol. There is always an extra charge to enter these areas which you can usually use the wristband to enter. Make sure you have fun , relax and feel free to ask me anything !!

Wednesday, September 24 - Metzingen/Reutlingen/Tübingen - 9:00 - 3:00
One of the group’s most-loved excursions is under an hour from Stuttgart, with no less than four fun thrift shops full of lots of great-priced items, such as home decor, vintage items, sets of dishes, pictures, furniture, and more! There’s also a large two-level antique store in a rustic-style warehouse/barn, chock full of gorgeous furniture, and smaller items as well. Although items are on the higher-end, price-wise there, it is still a sight to see! Mid-way, we’ll stop for a nice lunch, at a chic cafeteria-style restaurant, at the top floor of a large retail store.

CARPOOLS: To aid in a search for a ride or to offer a spot in your car, a carpool post will be included in our Facebook group.
ITINERARY: The complete itinerary with store's addresses, a description, parking information, etc. is always posted in our Facebook group the day prior to the event day.

Our second DIY project of the 2025-26 Membership year will be on September 10th. You will create a design and etch a single (1 liter) beer glass. You will also personalize a wooden bottle opener. You are welcome to sign up for more then one beer glass if you want a pair. Cost will be $15 per beer glass/ bottle opener. Picture is for inspiration.
We will use your Beer Glass Centerpieces at the Stuttgart Community Spouses Club Octoberfest Event on September 29th. At the end of the event, you can take home your completed project.
