Scholarships
Our annual merit-based scholarships are made possible with proceeds from the Patch Thrift Shop.
This year, SCSC's Scholarship Program became one of the largest impact initiatives in our community's history.
$155,000 awarded. 157 applications received. 300+ volunteer hours invested.
We received a record 157 applications — a 91.5% increase over last year — across four categories: High School 4-Year, Trade & Technical, Continuing Education, and Spouse Scholarships.
Of the 97 seniors who applied from Stuttgart High School, 81 received a scholarship — that's 83% of every senior who raised their hand and asked.
Over the past five years, SCSC has awarded more than half a million dollars in scholarships to this community!
None of it happens without you. Every donation, every purchase, and every volunteer hour at the Patch Thrift Shop makes it possible. For every $1 spent at the Thrift Shop, 72 cents goes directly back into this community.
