Supporting Our Community

With Service and Commitment

Our annual merit-based scholarships to high school seniors, graduates taking a gap year, continuing education students, and spouses are just one way that we give back to the USAG Stuttgart community! Scholarships are made possible with proceeds from the Patch Thrift Shop.

Scholarship applications for the year 2023 will open on December 1.

How are recipients selected? The selection process for scholarship winners is based on a combination of GPA, test scores, extracurricular activities, leadership, volunteer hours, work experience, and essay submission. However, each application and its requirements differ.

Is there a GPA minimum? Yes. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (GPA based on a 4.0 scale).

How many scholarships are given out? In 2022, the SCSC awarded more than $85,000 to over 80 applicants.

For more information and questions regarding scholarships or the application process, please contact Valerie, our Scholarship Chair.
