Stuttgart Community Spouses’ Club (SCSC) Scholarships 2025–2026

The Stuttgart Community Spouses’ Club (SCSC) awards merit-based scholarships in five different categories. These scholarships are made possible through proceeds from the Patch Thrift Shop. These awards reflect the hard work and generosity of our club and community volunteers, who dedicate hundreds of hours each year to make this program possible.

The SCSC Scholarship Committee oversees the review process, ensuring transparency and fairness throughout. Awards are based on a holistic evaluation that includes:

- Academic achievement (GPA)
- Extracurricular activities
- Personal essay
- Community service and leadership
- Work experience

Please note: Financial need is not considered in the selection process.

Selection Process
An independent Scholarship Selection Panel is utilized only for the Essay portion of the Application process.

This panel is composed of volunteer military and civilian members of the Stuttgart community who are screened for conflicts of interest. Their dependents are ineligible to apply, and applicant identities remain anonymous throughout scoring.

Applications for all other scholarship categories are reviewed by the SCSC Scholarship Committee, following the same evaluation standards and confidentiality guidelines.

The Scholarship Committee determines both the number of scholarships and the monetary value of each award based on available funds. Submission of an application does not guarantee an award.
