Community Outreach

Each year, our Community Outreach Committee works quietly and consistently behind the scenes to make sure no one in our Stuttgart military community feels unseen, unsupported, or alone.

In 2025–2026, we showed up in a big way.

What We Do

Our outreach efforts span the full range of military family life — from welcoming new babies to honoring the people who serve and support our community every day. We partner with installations, schools, agencies, and organizations across the Stuttgart footprint to deliver resources, recognition, and real impact where it's needed most.

This Year's Highlights

Educators Appreciation — Rapid Response Meal Program When our teachers needed a morale boost, we delivered — literally. In under five days, we coordinated meal distribution to approximately 384 educators across five DoWEA schools. This kind of rapid-response care is what sets SCSC apart.

Hospital Wellness Bag Program SCSC launched the Hospital Wellness Bag Program this year in partnership with the American Red Cross, USO, RSO and other private orgs and clubs, delivering thoughtfully assembled bags to patients and families at local military medical facilities. Our volunteers sourced, assembled, and distributed bags to ensure that service members and families navigating medical challenges felt supported by their community during a difficult time. It's a small gesture with a lasting impact — and one we're proud to continue. 

Graduation Gift Program We honored our graduating military-connected students with a $2,500 gift initiative coordinated across all PTAs — a meaningful recognition of the unique journey military kids take to reach this milestone.
