Proceeds from Thriftmas contribute to our charitable giving programs: grants, scholarships and community enhancement. This event can NOT happen without all our amazing employees and volunteers! The Patch Thrift Shop has been collecting and storing all donated holiday items throughout the year. We will need all hands on deck to help display it in the shop!
Volunteers who assist with setup and/ or on sales days will earn $5 of Christmas Cash per two hour shift and can set aside up to five items per shift (two hour shift required).
What is Christmas Cash? Christmas Cash can be used on full priced items during the month of December. It is valid through December 20, 2024, and can only be used in store.
SET UP VOLUNTEERSWe will need volunteers to help prepare the inventory and set up the store for Thriftmas. You will be helping set the scene for the holiday shoppers by putting together displays, organizing, and getting the Patch Thrift Shop ready for the big event! We will also need volunteers to help tear down and straighten up the store after the event. Help keep our hardworking Thriftmas volunteers and associates energized as they prepare for the Thrift Shop's holiday shopping event! From December 2-6, you can support the team by signing up to provide snacks or meals. If possible, please drop off your contributions at the Thrift Shop between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Your generosity will help fuel their efforts and spread holiday cheer! | EVENT VOLUNTEERSWe're also in need of plenty of volunteers to work the days of the event. You will be helping shoppers, replenishing the shelves and inventory, and ensuring things run as smoothly as possible. You can volunteer for just a couple hours or pitch in to be Santa's helper for a full day! |
